I spent much of the madness that was Tropical Storm Fay with my bandmates. It was refreshing, and I distinctly remembered my cheeks hurting from smiling so much.

It’s official.
After one rehearsal with Evan, Mike, and Alex (keytar bass), he’s totally in the band.
He picks things up very quickly and plays perfectly along with the music. When he deviates, he deviates to the benefit of the song. He’s funny as hell and enjoys my cinnamon roll skills.

Both my and Evan’s band will play back to back, since we share a bunch of members.\
I’m planning on taking Monday off in order to write a couple of more songs with Evan and teach the new bass player what we already have.
